This latest edition of Ringwood, our 25th, featured one new addition - a BRM P578 #12 with pilot Graham Hill created by Jimbo using a DArt body kit on top of a Vanski powered scratch built wire & brass chassis. This model would later go on to make a solid debut... and I have a feeling that we will see more of these models at future Ringwood events.Filming of 'Grand Prix' wrapped up just as the grid assembled for the first race of the event... Throngs attended the 24th edition of Ringwood...
Some registered but inclement weather forcing road closures prevented their haulers from arriving. Twenty other entries made the trip successfully, including Hill who would debut his Embassy Hill DN1.

The 23rd edition of Ringwood featured three new models presented to the grid along with a new number badge for a returning model:
A lovely custom made 1952 Ferrari MKII Thin Wall Special raced by J.F. Gonzalez - albeit with a motor outside of the rules:
A 1957 Maserati 250F using a modified scalextric body with custom chassis raced by J. Bonnier:
