The 8th running of the Coppa D'oro took place at the new Nova Ridge Motorsports Park in Mississauga, Ontario. Four builders entered 14 scratch built pre-war models to compete in two classes:
Pre-war Vintage [PGP] and
Streamliners [PGP+].

Overlapping with Scratch32 SP, CP & 3LM classes this Targa event focused on models that participated in the Targa Florio of 1970 - plus or minus a few years. Models from earlier or later years were permitted but builders were asked to use very conservative discretion when canvassing potential models 3 or 4 years removed. Sixteen entries representing seven countries from six builders would compete in this edition of the Coppa D’oro. Two new models, one of each class, would join fourteen returning entrants to make this the biggest field yet!

Player's 200 III

Ten low power entries would join four unlimited power entries from 5 builders in the this - the third running of - the Player's 200 at The Ring. SCCA & USRRC models from 1960 through 1965 qualified and actual and fantasy period liveries were eligible.
