Announcing Ringwood XXI on Monday night July 31, 2017!

Register your models as early as possible to reserve your livery or number for every class. Don’t forget to add your model to the Topic Tag field (below) as this thread grows. As before, those that register their models will receive customized event lane stickers and a souvenir event colour postcard (not to mention the avoidance of pre-race penalties).

As always – if it is a new model then please provide a historical review – if not then please still list it (use the MIN if it is listed in our database already) if you plan to present it to the grid. For those of you with 8 or 9 possible entries per class please cap your entries at three per class…

Questions or comments can simply be posted within this thread or email me directly. Anything noteworthy to the group will be posted here too.

It appears that the ‘Wheel of Misfortune’ is quickly becoming a popular deterrent and so it will remain as part of every event moving forward.

I hope to see all of you there! – Cheers – Art :yahoo:

Not yet presented to the 1970’s grid – an entry from 1973 that never finished higher than 9th place owned and driven by two time champion Graham Hill:

Graham Hill also used the Shadow DN1 during the 1973 season for his newly established team, Embassy Racing. Driving the team’s only entry, which ran in a largely white scheme, Hill failed to score any points with the DN1. His best finish was ninth at the Belgian Grand Prix. Embassy Hill switched to Lolas for the following season. A DArt repop of the now vintage Scaley DN1 – part of the Eclektrix line introduced last year… Front wheels are BWA and rear wheels are custom machined… tires are the usual beefy SC0106 and RM0202 trued down to nearly nothing…

Other entries en route to Ringwood XXI (by Model Identification Number – see Model Database):

    50GP:

    1.5LGP:

    3.0LGP:

    70GP:

    • 74GP008-1AT
    • #15 Embassy Racing Shadow DN1 driven by Graham Hill (as described above)

    Cheers!
