So far excellent! Good to see Gary join in on this action – I’m really looking forward to banging some fenders with Gary too! 3 spots left and it isn’t even April yet…

Sign me up as well. Does the Classic Stock Car class use BWA S-can motor?

Yes it does Joe. Minimum weight of 100-grams too. Really slow acceleration. Everyone can go for a slice of pizza in the long straight and make it back before the first corner.

Wow 100g min. I’m going to have to go out and get a rock from the garden!!!

Joe. The Carrera bodies weigh a lot on their own. You’ll only need a small rock by the time you add a chassis and motor. I thought an aluminum chassis would make my CSC a bit lighter. My Charger-500 ended up at 95-grams before adding any weight. Check the build thread.

These are fun because they’re slow and very stable. They look cool too.

Your right my Carrera Talladega came in at 105 g with no rocks. We run 18k motors in our club for that class so the weight isn’t that much of a factor and with no weight rule so I have never put it on the scales. I have time to build a brass chassis so I can put the weight where I want and still make the min.

Good news! I’ve added two more spots for this race night… so a maximum of 9 now…

Ken, if we have three unlimited TA cars (from three racers) then we’ll add unlimited TA to our Trans Am menu… I better get working on mine now…

Excellent! A packed grid for some of the most exciting classes we have! We’ll have lots of door prizes to give away too! Doors will open no later than 4:30pm for those wishing to beat traffic. See everyone there! :good:

Time permitting I’ll have an unlimited TA ready.

I humbly apologize that I cannot make it to the race as planned. The hospice where my father is staying at just called all family members to my father’s side. His condition has deteriorated severely in the last 24-hours. I am heading to see my father shortly.

I wish everyone a great evening of friendship, and racing. Experiences like this remind me that it’s not just about racing. It’s about the friendships.

With the numbers down by two now we’ll likely give this a 7:30pm start and let some others practice a little longer – so you won’t miss anything Joe. Best wishes Ken – hang in there – and take care Porsche911.
