Player’s 200

October 28, 2019 – RING

This first edition of the Player’s 200 featured a diverse field with 15 SCCA/USRRC models competing in multiple rotations. Eight on the grid were scratch built entrants while placeholders rounded out the balance of the field. Although scratch built entries won both classes placeholders did secure podium positions but are not included in these official results. Dan Gurney was seen testing his #96 Lotus 23 but failed to make the start of the race with gearing trouble – a huge disappointment for many American fans. Resulting placeholders included a Cheetah, Aston Martin, Austin Healey, King Cobra (x2), Ferrari 250LM and Chaparral 2
