Next Event – CANAM Thunder II (1960-1974) Show, Tell & Race
‘Low’ power motored pre-canam entries will make up the PC (‘Pre-CANAM’) class while anything else will fall into the PC+ class, although they will all race on track together. Anything goes for this while we sift and sort through how best to integrate these SCCA (and USRRC) models into the scratch32 (and perhaps R32) family of classes. Contribute by expressing your preferences for this wonderful era of North American racing in person next Monday. For more info and details click on the event poster above or just click here.

Our 8th Monday night Workshop Academy session topic is still open to suggestion. A great way to share ideas and learn new things this ‘how to’ gathering is a must for any serious builder! Email your suggestions to me at: email@example.com – anything related to the hobby is welcome! ‘Resources’ Sub Forum
Don’t forget to check our Resources sub forum for help on every topic, including recommendations and links for parts, tools and other essentials. Since our focus is specific to scratch32 and R32 you can’t go wrong by relying on advice found here. Everything from where to get class eligible wheels to how to prep and paint your newest shell can be found inside – and if it isn’t then ask – someone will have a tried and tested response you can trust. Click here for topics in our Resources sub forum – such as ‘Class Eligible Bits & Pieces’. Helpful ‘How To’ articles are also included there in .pdf format for those with scratch32 accounts. Furthermore, unlike most other slot car websites there is no exclusive loyalty to sponsors or prohibition on providing links directly to other non-sponsoring websites. If something is useful or good – share info, pictures and a link or two – if something is garbage or should be avoided then warn us!
Give back to your friends – those with whom you share your scarce leisure time with and with whom you race – by regularly contributing to this community. If you know something or have experience share it – if you are learning then ask or comment. Silence benefits no one.
