This latest edition of Ringwood, our 25th, featured one new addition – a BRM P578 #12 with pilot Graham Hill created by Jimbo using a DArt body kit on top of a Vanski powered scratch built wire & brass chassis. This model would later go on to make a solid debut… and I have a feeling that we will see more of these models at future Ringwood events.Filming of ‘Grand Prix’ wrapped up just as the grid assembled for the first race of the event… All entries for each of the four Grand Prix classes (1950’s, 1.5L, 3.0L and 1970’s) made their way to the grid – and this is how the event unfolded:
