Practice was underway but off to a rough start for some:

Repairs would be made in time for the event. Others practiced. No locals nor goats were hit.

…Alan De Cadanet needed to pit to repair a broken shifter and limped to the pits in 3rd gear… but after that he was on a charge!

…Willy Kaussen would surprise many by finishing 5th overall and first in class (GT2)…

A very nice looking field of 10 scratch built models from 1970 and 1971 racing in five classes. A great show! Thank you to everyone who participated! :good:

  1. Excellent report. :good: Great historical pictures. :yahoo: An excellent job by everyone in making entries that were remarkably true to the original entries. Those jaunty gents from Palermo (Team Pegaso) are to be congratulated on their overall team win!! I have it on good authority that many of the team are still partying!! :wacko:

  2. Wow Great report. Missed this when it was first posted. You found some fantastic images. Wish I had those when I first built my cars. May have to update the models a bit with this new evidence.
